Jeongsoo Choi leads Bain's Chemicals and Energy & Natural Resources practices and is an active contributor to Bain's global Advanced Manufacturing & Services, Mergers & Acquisitions, Energy & Natural Resources, Performance Improvement and Sustainability & Responsibility practices.
Since joining Bain in 2007, Jeongsoo has served clients in various industries, with strong focus in the chemicals, EV battery value chain, Oil & Gas downstream, advanced materials, and airline. He has covered a wide range of corporate strategies such as full potential growth strategy, value creation, new business/country expansion strategy as well as, performance improvement topics, such as cost transformation, commercial excellence and R&D innovation. He also has extensive experiences of both domestic and cross-border M&A, particular M&A strategy, due diligence, blue printing, and post-acquisition integration.

Before joining Bain, he worked for the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology at MIT as a research engineer, IBM Almaden Research Center and Stanford University as a post-doctoral researcher.
He earned his BS, MS and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
