Torsten Hvidt

Torsten Hvidt is a member of our Organization and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practices.

With nearly 25 years of consulting experience, Torsten co-founded Qvartz and served as one of its managing partners prior to its integration with our Nordics team in early 2020. Historically, he has specialized in advising global leaders across various industries — primarily those in the B2B space, but with notable detours into the global toy and brewery spheres.

Torsten’s current work emphasizes organization and leadership, including engagements on transitioning from traditional hierarchical organizations to more agile, fluid structures. His recent achievements include:

• Transforming a global pharmaceutical leader’s structure from bureaucratic to simple and agile; and
• Evolving a major building component producer from a wholesale business model to a service-based business model.

He holds an M.Sc. from Aarhus University and Yonsei University (Seoul). He has also completed various courses at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), London Business School (LBS) and INSEAD.

He currently holds several board positions across the Nordics and the US and is regularly published on topics at the intersection of culture and organization. He also formerly served on the board of professional soccer club AGF.
