Thomas G. Arentsen is a member of our Utilities and Renewables, broader Energy & Natural Resources, and Strategy practices.
He served as a partner for Qvartz prior to the firm's integration with us in early 2020. During his 20-year tenure at Qvartz, he led the firm’s Water, Energy and Cleantech (WEC) practice.
Thomas mainly advises leading utilities and renewables supply chain players on energy transition, strategy elaboration, performance improvement and transformation. His recent engagements have included PMI planning, power-to-X strategy, and strategic business pivoting.
Before joining Qvartz, Thomas worked as a consultant for another top firm and as a research assistant in the Department of Organization and Industrial Sociology (OIS) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
He holds an executive MBA in strategic innovation from IMD (Switzerland) and an M.Sc. in business administration and commercial law from CBS.
He is an officer of the reserve for the Danish Defence.
