Giovanni Fiorentino is the co-founder of Bain & Company’s São Paulo office. He leads the firm's Healthcare & Life Sciences practice in South America and is a member of the global Energy & Natural Resources, Advanced Manufacturing & Services, Automotive, Consumer Goods and Retail practices.
He joined Bain in 1997 and has more than 30 years of management consulting experience.
Giovanni has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups in several industries such as mining, base metals, oil and gas, steel, base materials, chemicals, construction, transportation, logistics, consumer goods, retail, automotive, consumer durables and private equity.
Giovanni leads engagements addressing issues including corporate and business unit strategy, functional strategy, corporate restructuring, M&A, post-merger integration, fund strategy, new business development, alliance and JV strategy, customer loyalty programs, cash management, performance improvement programs, organizational redesign and cost reduction.
Prior to joining Bain, he worked for another global consulting firm in Italy as a manager. He was also one of the co-founders of Value Partners, an international management consulting firm, in Europe and South America.
Giovanni graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitá La Sapienza (Italy) and holds an MBA from Insead (France). He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian and proficient in German and French.
