Amanda leads strategy and operations for Bain & Company's New Ventures portfolio (Engine 2 Ventures), home to Bain's most innovative SaaS and data businesses. Day to day, Amanda works closely with the venture GMs on strategic topics such as resource allocation and venture assessment, as well as leads key people and talent initiatives across the portfolio.
Before joining the exciting Engine 2 universe in early 2023, Amanda was a Senior Manager in Bain's San Francisco office, leading customer, go-to-market and strategy focused projects for priority Software and Consumer Products clients. In addition to case work, Amanda has led Stanford GSB recruiting since 2021, and recently led a pro-bono strategy project for the UC Davis School of Viticulture and Enology - where she was ultimately asked to join as a member of their Executive Leadership Board in 2022.
Amanda joined Bain as an Associate Consultant Intern in 2012, and returned full-time as an Associate Consultant in 2013. Since 2013, Amanda has only left Bain to pursue her MBA at Stanford's Graduate School of Business from 2016-2018.
Prior to Bain, Amanda earned a BA in economics & history and minors in financial economics and corporate strategy from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2013.
Outside work, Amanda loves being involved in her family's wine business, where she is a sixth generation winegrower and vintner. She also enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with friends, and exploring hiking trails across the Bay Area with her husband Alex and their dog Sasha.
